Forgotten Harvest

There are presently no open calls for submissions.

The Forgotten Harvest Capacity Grant Program supports improvements to the food security network.  We have three goals:

  • Deepen or Extend Relationships with and Services for the Food Recipients - improvements that reach out to potential recipients, make them feel welcomed and valued, or which provide culturally specific food choices that meet their needs.
  • Improve Logistics for Food Distribution - improvements that increase your agency's ability to handle food safely and efficiently, and to deliver it to food recipients in a timely and dependable manner.
  • Encourage Agency Partnerships and Collaboration - to find new ways to work together with other agencies that distribute food, to expand impact and effectiveness.
